Gerber Collision & Glass is looking for an Auto Body Assitant to join our winning team. This is an excellent opportunity to join the leader in collision repair and take your career to the next level. We're looking for someone to partner with an experienced technician, be part of a team to learn and develop your body work ability, and ultimately contribute to shop performance.

Responsibilities

  • Follow directions given by Mentor Technician / Senior Technician
  • Disassemble and reassemble vehicles and related parts, including tear down work
  • Minor body work in accordance with the repair plan, including plastic welding (bumper repairs)
  • Enhance your abilities through experience and coaching

Qualifications

  • 1-3+ years working inside of a auto body shop / collision repair / collision center
  • Exposure to collision repair is a huge bonus
  • Exceptional problem solving skills
  • Ability to keep up and succeed in a fast paced working environment
  • Positive team player attitude with a desire to learn and succeed in the industry
